As an educator, I aim to teach and create a safe environment for my future students. I strive to create a learning environment so all students can openly share their thoughts in class without judgment. For many, it isn't easy to express their ideas or emotions. That is why, as an art educator, I want to give students a guide using art as a link to express themselves freely. 

Apart from making students comfortable, I want to expand the endless possibilities art can provide. I plan to do this by challenging their abilities, knowledge, and creativity. I also plan to introduce projects to students to expand their understanding of artistic media. One of my goals as an art educator is integrating technology into my teaching. I do this because I want to prepare students to be more comfortable and engaged in the never-ending, growing world of technology.
 
I want to assist experienced and inexperienced students by allowing them to see their artistic potential. This is because I believe creativity is not a talent but rather a practice of being comfortable with our free thinking. I want to show students that they are creative and that their ideas are important because they are connected to their own beings. I want to show students that they are all exceptional and unique. Most importantly, I want to show students that they are artists and that they can express who they are regardless of what labels are attached to them.
