Description:
The ceramic sale was made as a closing farewell to the building for the ceramic department, as it will be under reconstruction for the next couple of years (starting 2022). The sale money goes towards the artists (60%) and SILICA (40%).
Rationale:
I was given the opportunity to show my work to the public and have people purchase my ceramic work in the sale. I was very interested to know what sold faster and what made people hesitant to buy specific pieces of mine. The images below are the works I made for the sale. I made a total of $241, donating $96.40 to SILICA.
